Chef Matt Schole


Chef Matt brings 18 years of experience in all facets of hospitality operations, including serving as Owner/Pastry Chef of a small business for nine years and managing food and beverage presentation in high-volume settings. He has won Skills USA Gold Medal in Entrepreneurship, ACF Junior Dessert Competition, and Outstanding New CTE Teacher of the Year.

Matt’s teaching belief is that we never stop learning, and his goal is to prepare students and workers to achieve their highest potential. This motivation for success drives Matt to continue pursuing new methods and procedures in every aspect of life, trying to teach the material in as many ways as possible.

Chef Matt credits his mentors for teaching him how to be a better leader. They were able to delegate what was needed to be done without making it seem like orders are to be given against team members’ will. That is what he continues to do in his teaching environment, in order to create a teamwork mindset under his leadership.
