Show off your creative quarantine kitchen skills and join Escoffier Boulder’s weekly cooking challenge for your chance to win gift cards to your favorite local restaurants over the next 4 weeks!
How It Works:
Weekly challenges start April 20 and feature a specific cooking theme announced each Monday via email. You’ll have until noon on Friday each week to create a signature dish that showcases the week’s theme and post a photo on instagram with the hashtag #escoffierboulderchallenge to submit your entry. Don’t forget to let us know what the dish is in the caption too!
Submitted photos will be evaluated by Escoffier’s Chef Instructors and 3 winners will be announced each Monday via email along with the new challenge.
Contest Rules:
Student submissions will be evaluated for:
- Creativity with featured theme
- Plating and presentation
Weekly Themes:
- Week 1 (April 20 – April 24): Signature Vegetable Dish (can be an appetizer, main course or even a snack)
- Week 2 (April 27 – May 1): Signature Baked Item (can be single or multiple serving)
- Week 3 (May 4 – May 8): Signature Soup Featuring Legumes
- Week 4 (May 11 – May 15): Signature Pasta Dish (entree serving)
- Week 5 (May 18 – May 22): Signature Cupcake
- Week 6 (May 25 – May 29): Egg Dish
- Week 7 (June 1- June 5): Dish highlighting a Grain
- Week 8 (June 8 – June 12): Fish Dish
- Week 9 (June 15 – June 19): Seasonal Dish feature Asapargus
- Week 10 (June 22 – June 26): Signature Cobbler
