School Expands Culinary Offerings for Food Enthusiasts, Corporations and Community Members

AUSTIN, TX (March 25, 2013) – The Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts located at 6020-B Dillard Circle in Austin, Texas will expand its culinary offerings to non-diploma seeking students and clientele by adding a variety of activities in its newly formed “Culinary Adventures” Program.

“Culinary Adventures” at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts will be led by Special Events Manager, Nancy Marr. Formerly a Sales Specialist and Cooking School Instructor at Central Market’s Cooking School, Nancy will focus on corporate events, private parties, continuing education and recreational cooking classes.

Expert chefs and staff from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts will lead guests through epicurean adventures such as fully catered events in the school’s 9,000 square foot outdoor garden, team- building exercises where groups are given mystery baskets and charged with the task of working together to create sit-down feasts, and chef guided hands-on cooking lessons such as Knife Skills or Pastry Basics. Each aspect of the program will utilize the school’s current facilities which include four commercial kitchens, community dining room, and beautifully constructed garden with seating for up to 100 guests. Through “Culinary Adventures” at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, the public will have an opportunity to experience the school’s commitment to seasonal and sustainable cooking in a personable and professional environment.
