Over the 2020 holiday break Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts students were challenged to upload photos of the holiday meals they prepared for a chance to win AESCA swag. The chosen platform was Instagram and students were instructed to use #EscoffierHolidayChallenge and tag us at @escoffierschools. Entries could be anything from hor d’oeuvres, to main courses, to deserts. Well, we got it all and then some…we even received entries for custom cocktails. All in all, our chef instructor judges reviewed nearly 500 entries, and all were imaginative and clearly executed with skills these students are learning and practicing in their culinary and pastry courses.
Awards for this three week contest consist of:
- 1st Place – Five winners: AESCA Backpack
- 2nd Place – Ten winners: AESCA Water Bottle
- 3rd Place – Ten winners: AESCA Apron
- 4th Place – Ten winners: AESCA Mug
