Featured in the Culinary Arts program
As part of our unique Farm To Table® Experience, every Culinary Arts class visits and works on local farms to gain in-depth knowledge of where food comes from.
Our most recent class visited the Mountain Flower Goat Dairy in Boulder, CO, where they learned about goats and the process of milking, collecting and bottling raw milk, as well as helped with chores. They even played goat herders and gathered up the ones that have gone astray!
The students learned about humane dairy production, conservation through urban agriculture and land stewardship.
