According to FoodBeast, Farmer’s Fridge kiosk is made from reclaimed wood and other recycled materials. The vending machine is run efficiently and costs less $10 a month for each unit. Additionally, they are stocked each morning with fresh salads and other healthy snacks like yogurt and berry mixes. All the dishes are made from scratch each morning at 5 a.m.

The salads are delivered by 10 a.m., and anything unsold by 6 p.m. is discounted to just $1. If there are food items still unsold, they are donated to a local food pantry. The company has a strong passion for eating healthy, sustainability and helping out the community. This may the first in a wave of new vending machine offerings that include nutritious food.
