Holiday Glazed Ham Recipe:
Serves 12
Ingredients:
1 (14-16 lb.) fully cooked, spiral-cut smoked city ham
8 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz. apricot preserves
½ cup Dijon mustard
¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
¼ cup maple syrup
Zest of one orange
¼ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the ham in a heavy roasting pan.
2. In a medium bowl, combine garlic, preserves, mustard, brown sugar, maple syrup, orange zest, and orange juice. Stir to combine.
3. Pour the glaze over the ham and bake for 1 hour, until the ham is fully heated and the glaze is well browned and caramelized. Allow to cool and serve at room temperature.
