Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts would like to invite you to our Virtual High School Educators Workshop that will be held this fall!
Enhance your culinary skills and find out about upcoming scholarship competitions that will be available to high school Juniors and Seniors. By attending you will earn continuing education credits with Escoffier at this COMPLIMENTARY workshop!* This 3-hour workshop for high school educators will include demos focusing on grilling, sautéing, and plating, just to name a few! The event will be virtual via Zoom Video Conference.

*Earn a total of 3 Continuing Education credit hours for attending this session. You must attend the entire workshop to receive any credit.
We’ll be sharing informative materials from Escoffier’s Culinary Education Specialist and Certified Master Pastry Chef, Frank Vollkommer. In these assets, Chef Frank will demonstrate how to properly execute building a gingerbread structure. He will share how to bake, assemble, and decorate a gingerbread structure. This is in preparation for Escoffier’s Crown Scholarship competition that will be offered to high school juniors and seniors around holiday time. You can share the skills overviewed with your students, so they can prepare for the competition!
In addition, Escoffier Chef Presenters will demonstrate live how to accurately cook and create steak and potatoes with a side of glazed carrots, and chocolate mousse with homemade whipped cream utilizing the skills displayed in the above list. These menu items will be the requirement for high school juniors and seniors to make in order to compete in the Virtual Young Escoffier Scholarship Competition next year.
