Culinary and Pastry Arts Study Grants for Military and Veterans Students

At Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, we are honored to help those who serve to follow their passion and reach their dreams with a culinary education.

That's why we are proud to provide financial support to qualifying military students who served our country. We offer grants to the following students who attend residential and online programs in the culinary or pastry arts at our campuses in Boulder, CO and Austin, TX.

Veteran Administration Benefits and Tuition Assistance



As a military or veteran student, you may qualify for government funding through the following programs:

Applying for Military Tuition Assistance

Complete the enrollment form associated with your branch of the US Military below for approval by your Military Education Officer.

Each branch of the US Military offers a Tuition Assistance (TA) program to Active and/or Reserve Military Service members. TA can cover up to $167 per quarter credit hour, not to exceed the amount per Military Fiscal Year based on branch of service.

Note: You will Submit the APPROVED TA form to Escoffier’s Financial Aid Office.

Grant Amounts and Eligibility



As a military student, you may qualify for the following grants through Escoffier Schools:

The AESCA Application Form includes an area to list your service information. This information will be used as application for eligible military grants and your qualifications will be verified during the admissions process. Students verified to be eligible will be offered the appropriate grant and will receive additional information regarding terms and conditions from the institution. * Students that have completed the admissions application process, validated their military status, and have a remaining financial need will be considered for the Military Grant, Veterans Grant or Veterans Spouse/Dependent Grant. These grants can't be used in conjunction with any other institutional grant and/or scholarship.

Financial Aid Steps:
Financial Aid available to those who apply and qualify

Financial Aid Expectations: In most cases the Financial Aid process can take 10-14 days to complete.

The Department of Education Award year runs from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. Refer to this time frame when completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in relation to the start of your program. The Financial Aid office asks that you complete the FAFSA prior to your first day of class, however this is not a requirement to begin classes. Federal Funding is not given on a first come first serve basis as it is based on your individual eligibility as determined by the Department of Education. The office of Financial Aid at Escoffier will accept the FAFSA and process it upon receipt. Please call our office at (877) 452-5489 ext. 1 with any questions.

*Please Note the Financial Aid Office will be unable to disburse funding towards any applicable tuition and/or fees until you have completed the Financial Aid process.
