October 6, 2016: Walt Disney World’s chef recruiter, Pauli Milotte, made a trip to the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts’ Boulder campus on October 6th to speak with students about job and externship opportunities at the company’s theme parks and resorts in Orlando, FL. This is the first partnership of its kind with Disney, and executive chef Ashlea Tobeck is enthusiastic about the prospects this trip can bring to the students.

“I’m very excited for our students to have the opportunity to work at Disney,” Tobeck said. “The variety of experiences and caliber of the program will give them an amazing leap as they begin their careers.”

In addition to a presentation, the day included on campus interviews with Chef Milotte and students. In total, the event produced Disney position offers for one pastry arts and nine culinary arts students.

“My original reason for coming to this school was chiefly Disney,” said Kevin Langley, a culinary arts student. “It’s my dream to cook dreams!”
