Chef John has cooked for Michelin Star restaurant Palais Lenbach Otto Stasse 6 in Munchen, Germany, been an Executive Chef for country clubs and hotels, and worked in sales for Farm and Home Foods. He won Manager of the Year at Renaissance Hotel in Boulder, Colorado, in 2019.
He cooked Julia Child’s 77th birthday dinner at Hemmingway’s Restaurant in Killington, Vermont. While working in Chef George Mahaffey’s brigade de cuisine in the ’90s, the chef won Best Chef Southwest.
He is currently re-certifying for the Certified Executive Chef® certification from the American Culinary Federation.
