About

I have always loved Psychology, it fascinates me. We use the theories and methods daily, unconsciously sometimes. Studying the “why” behind people gives me a better understanding on how to interact and relate.

I pursued my degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina, graduating in 2013. While finishing my degree, I had an internal pull to start another educational journey in Nursing. I graduated with my nursing degree in 2016. Since then, I have “married” the two disciplines and have been a psychiatric nurse.

I am married to Chef Christopher Diehl, who is a well loved Chef instructor here at Escoffier! I became apart of the Escoffier family in 2021. While I never thought of teaching, here I am three years into it and love sharing my knowledge and experiences with my Escoffier students!
