Cooking Classes Overview


The Home Cook Program at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts offers a variety of hands-on cooking classes for the food enthusiast. Classes are taught by passionate Chef Instructors, focus on the art of cooking and emphasize the use of the seasonal ingredients. Whether you’re new to the kitchen or an accomplished Home Cook, we have a class for you!

The majority of our class calendar features 1-day or 2-day workshops held weeknights and weekends. Attend any one of these hands-on workshops and you’ll roll up your sleeves, whip up dishes and share a meal at the end of class. Classes include; Knife Skills, Modern Mother Sauces, Sushi Madness, Seasonal Vegetarian, Rustic Bread, Cupcake Bash, Dinner Date and many more.

Techniques Classes

Learn the foundational techniques of cooking and pastry with our five session Techniques courses. Techniques courses are offered over five weeks (one day a week), or for five consecutive days (Monday-Friday). Courses include; Teen Cooking Techniques, Basic Cooking Techniques, Basic Pastry Techniques and more.
