Chef Lionel Heydel is a classically French-trained chef who completed his culinary arts and hospitality education in Strasbourg, France. He refined his craft under Michelin Star chefs Antoine Westermann at Le Buerehiesel in Strasbourg and Michel Rochedy with Stephane Buron at Le Chabichou in Courchevel 1850. He is also the founder of I-Chef USA, a consulting and private chef service, and has brought his expertise to top-tier kitchens across the United States, including resorts, country clubs, fine dining restaurants, and an elevated farm-to-table restaurant.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Chef Lionel is known for his passion for hospitality and his commitment to mentoring and motivating students throughout their culinary journeys. His strong work ethic, proactive leadership, and deep respect for the craft have made him a respected voice in both the kitchen and the classroom.
