Virtual Ceremony for Distance Learning (Online) Graduates

We are elated to invite you to the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts virtual graduation on Friday, October 27, 2023. Join your fellow classmates as you rejoice in your accomplishments and celebrate your hard work. Our ceremony will take place via Zoom Video Conference and will start with a “Main Event” followed by additional zoom sessions for your “individual programs”.

Enter Main Event Ceremony on October 27, 2023 according to your time zone listed:
(12 pm PT, 1 pm MT, 2 pm CT, 3 pm ET)

Main Ceremony:

Once the main event ends, you will be directed to enter your individual program celebration. If you have graduated from both a Diploma and an Associate’s program, please enter the celebration honoring the Associate’s program.

MAKE THIS A SPECIAL CELEBRATION:

    • Create a party at home with your friends and loved ones
    • Set up your event to display on a T.V. or other larger device so you can relax and enjoy
    • Make your favorite hors d’oeuvres and drinks to enjoy as you celebrate
    • Get balloons and streamers to decorate your party area
    • Wear your graduation regalia: chef coat and medallion for your event. Wear your toque at the end of your program ceremony during conferring of degrees.

1. Will the Virtual Graduation Ceremony be recorded? (YES)
2. How many guests am I allowed to invite? (Unlimited)
3. Do I need to RSVP? (YES, all RSVP’s need to be confirmed by Tuesday, October 10th, 2023)
4. What time will graduation start? (2:00 pm CT)
5. Will I be visible on camera? (Graduates do not appear on camera during the virtual ceremony)

Question: I would like to know if we can invite guests to our virtual graduation?
Answer: You will receive an email with all the links to attend the ceremony that you will be able to share with your family and friends.

Question: What do I need to wear?
Answer: Wear what you are comfortable in. While we encourage you to wear your Escoffier Chef jacket to recognize your accomplishment, you will not appear on camera.

Question: Will the names of students be read during the ceremony?
Answer: Yes, all graduate names will be read during the ceremony.

Question: How will I be able to watch the live stream?
Answer: You will be able to watch the live stream via Zoom after downloading to your computer. A link with details will be sent soon as we approach the day of the event. Use the link provided to join the meeting and watch the live stream.

Question: How can I access Zoom to stream graduation?
Answer: You can access Zoom for free by downloading to your computer ahead of time from this link: https://zoom.us/. You will also receive a link emailed to you for the ceremony as we get closer to the day of the event.
