Boy oh boy, will Santa be happy with you for making these delicious chocolate crinkle cookies. One of our favorite additions to our holiday dessert lineup, these confections are the perfect little thing to keep you and your household going throughout the festivities. Rich cocoa, a crispy coating powdered sugar coating and gooey center make these a festive, fun and delicious option to have on standby for last minute gifts, potlucks and parties. Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients
2 ¼ cup sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
2/3 cup oil
4 eggs
2 ¼ cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cup powdered sugar

Directions
1. Combine the sugar, cocoa powder and oil. Add the eggs and vanilla. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder and add to wet mixture. Chill mixture over night or for at least 4 hours.
2. When ready to bake, drop tablespoon size balls into the powdered sugar and roll. Place on a parchment lined sheet pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 12-14 minutes. Cookies will keep for up to a week.

You can add some peppermint oil to make them extra festive.
