Leah Eveleigh, the winner of the Food Network show Cutthroat Kitchen, decided to expand her culinary knowledge and enrolled at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts Boulder campus three days after returning to Colorado a champion.
A passionate home cook, Eveleigh opened Tropical Grill Catering in 2003. By 2006 the company expanded to open the Tropical Grill Restaurant, then in 2008 Eveleigh sold her restaurant to take a break from professional cooking. In 2012, Eveleigh returned to the culinary world to start Chef Leah’s Kitchen, a cooking demo/private chef company.
Eveleigh’s life changed significantly when the casting producers for the Cutthroat Kitchen cast her as a competitor in their second season. Eveleigh won the competition and decided to enroll at our school. A humble and gracious person, Leah Eveleigh is the perfect example of what can happen when you never stop dreaming.
