BOULDER, Colo (October 9, 2016) – The Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts located at 637 South Broadway in Boulder is excited to announce that Sunday, October 9, 2016 has been declared “Escoffier Day” by the Boulder City Council! The city of Boulder is home to the world famous Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, offering accredited Culinary and Pastry Programs with Farm-To-Table Focus.
The school offers a culinary arts program based on the methods, principles and systems of Auguste Escoffier. Students have the opportunity to learn history and context directly from the Escoffier Family, as well as from expert chef instructors.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming success of our school. It is an honor and privilege to have a day named after Escoffier, internationally recognized as perhaps the most famous chef in history and who is as influential and relevant today as he was a century ago,” said Kirk T. Bachmann, Campus President of the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.
Our Schools’ Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts certificate programs offer rigorous industry skills training, as well as ground in the standards of professionalism and excellence.
This year’s celebration falls in conjunction with the 170th birthday of the famed chef, Auguste Escoffier, and to celebrate his legacy, honor his memory, as well as promote the preservation of his name and many achievements in the culinary industry.
